Police report that they are fairly certain that the shooting at the cafe in the u-district at 11am that left 3 dead and 2 in critical condition are connected to the carjacking on 8th and Seneca which left a woman dead at around 11:30am. At around 3:30pm, a man shot himself in the head when confronted by police on 37th and Raymond. Police have a strong belief that the cases are connected, and the suspect is now in custody.
